This song has Afro beat rhythms (The drums, Guitar and Bass) that has been greatly influenced by the addition of the Bambaya rhythms from the Northern parts of Ghana with the introduction of instruments like the Dondo, the” Brekete” and the Bamboo flute. The intro of the song was achieved by an ensemble of Talking drums and other traditional percussion instruments mainly used by praise singers popular in the North of Ghana.

This has a mixture of folk /Traditional Music rhythm of the Ga people (of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana) known as Kpanlogo rhythms (the percussion) and Dance Highlife Music. The Dance Highlife evolved around the 1930 and had a lot of influence from jazz and swing which was popular with serviceman who had returned from the UK and America.
